  • The Eyes that See - A Prelude to the Balancer Chronicles on March 28, 2011

I am an avid reader and find this book to be extremely interesting. Most definately a "Don't put down until finished" book. Eloquently written, a gripping story. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
  • Legacy - Book One of the Balancer Chronicles on May 07, 2011

I am an avid reader of a variety of genre and at first wasn’t sure I liked the style of this book but I became extremely intrigued the more I read. I am not a fan of books that have too much descriptive aspects and make me skip ahead looking for the interesting bits but this author balances, (excuse the pun!), the “descriptive” and the “dialogue” in such a way as to keep the reader interested and thirsting for more information. I was thoroughly engrossed; I couldn’t put the book down and even felt all the emotions on cue with Kat, right down to the tears. Amazing! I felt I was right there experiencing it all! The ending of this novel is classic movie style, "hanging in the air, come on, where is the follow on" feeling. I presume the 2nd book of the chronicles will continue with Kats “Balancer” life and I am interested to see how the style of writing will conform to the “present” rather than the “historical telling”, although I understand why THIS book is written in this way. The book is very eloquently written and I can’t wait for the following novels. I HAVE to know whether Kat and Wolf become an item and whether James and Kat finally meet.
