Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, in the beginning of the Salvadoran civil war, Sulma Noemi Portillo has a passion for justice and freedom issues. Her writing explores mental justice and life rights themes.

Sulma N. Portillo resides in Ontario, Canada. She has an MA degree in Philosophy from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, which she was able to earn thanks to a University of Windsor merit scholarship. For any book inquiries, you may contact the author at portill at uwindsor dot ca.
