Rhachelle Johnson, received her Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University in Psychology, with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology, in the Spring of 2000. Born and raised into a family that worked with developmentally disabled adults. Rhachelle always had a heart of compassion for those in need of advocacy and care. She has volunteered and worked with numerous organizations, tutored children in foster care, volunteered in elementary special education programs, volunteered with adult mental health clients and has a heart for the youth in her local church. Rhachelle soon became a little weary, becoming unsatisfied with the work of some of the organizations she worked with and for. In her heart she always felt that more could and should be done.
Rhachelle is not only a writer, but also a philanthropist. During the course of her writing Sunday Mourning, she was inspired to found an organization called Mother 2 Mother CDC, an organization providing preventative services to at risk mothers and families.
Rhachelle realized her purpose after working for the Department of Family Services. She vowed before colleagues, “I will carry this burden for every mother, in order to prevent them from suffering from being separated from their children.” This organization is a fulfillment of that commitment.
Rhachelle bares a testimony of triumph and victory, overcoming obstacles that now allow her to relate to mothers that may want to throw in the towel. She is a mentor, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, author but most importantly a humble servant of God. “He has turned my mess into a message and my test into a testimony.”
