  • The Three Hares (a short story) on Oct. 10, 2012

A short story that has been well written and is very atmospheric. It’s easy to feel yourself being drawn along by the hares as Dylan was and the surprise ending sends a shiver up the spine. I’d be happy to purchase other works by this author. Recommended reading.
  • Fairy Grump on Oct. 10, 2012

A very short story with a message. This story is ideal for reading to very young children and would work well with a small group. The language and message are both simple and straightforward and the description of the flying fairies bought a smile to my lips. Recommended reading.
  • Being Different on Oct. 10, 2012

A thought provoking collection of 3 short stories that briefly explore the lives of people who are deemed to be, in some way, different. Each self contained story is well written in a manner that suggests the author has had some experience of the effect of the problems she is describing. The stories could be used in small group to explain some behaviours and initiate useful discussions or to show siblings and sufferers that they are not alone. Recommended reading.
