Susan Meiring

I was born on the 15th November 1971 in Klawer, Northern Cape, South Africa. I moved to Cape Town at an early age and grew up in Retreat. As part of a family of 15 children, it was inevitable that life made rough turns. I always loved writing, but qualified myself as a security officer and in 2012, i decided to write seriously. A local newspaper gave me a platform as writer and published my shortstories. As a mother of four, i experienced lots of challenges while trying to get my book published, but my dedication and hard work paid off when i launched 'Dogters van Sahara' first book at the end of May this year.
