The author was born in Denmark. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1952, and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in economics. He is married and has three children. In 1972 he started a commercial insurance brokerage firm in Southern California from which he is retired. Living in a subburb of Houston, Texas, he is now enjoying his lifetime avocation of writing.
A memoir of a young Danish boy's life during the WWII Nazi ocuupation of Denmark. It tells of a series of teen-age pranks the author and his friends played on the Gestapo and the German soldiers. It is, at the same time, hillarious and sad and depict both triumphs and tragedies of war, cruelty, and courage.
