T. E. Kidd is a Ph.D. Physicist working as a professor at the University of Northern Iowa. He has three young boys who have been a treasure. One of his favorite pastimes is to make up new stories for bedtime. The authors night vision and memory make bedtime reading a fun challenge so each story takes on a new flavor each night. Some stories stand the test of time, and that's where these children's books are born. Hopefully you and your children will have as much fun with these stories as Oliver, Nigel, and Gideon.
This illustrated story tells what happens when children who love rocks explore a forest on a family outing. Not everyone always fits in, and rocks are no exception. The family finds a creative way to cheer up one rock who just doesn't belong in the forest. This story is based on a bedtime story created by the author for his three young children and is especially suitable for early readers.
