Biography

Born in 1925 this Author joined the army while still underage and was a Sergeant by the time he was 18.

He joined the Middlesex Regiment and became one of the sergeant Instructors for the newly formed Long Range Desert Group. He was commissioned into the King's Own Scottish Borderers and ended the war as a liaison officer for the Arab Desert Legion.

After the war, he served as a Colonial policeman in Northern Rhodesia before returning to the United Kingdom and a career in the legal profession.

He was interested in many subjects, ranging from archaeology to heraldry and calligraphy to history.
