T. Owen Stark

Biography

He began writing poetry as a teenager which truly saved him from a destructive path. Serving as an outlet during years of extreme depression, poetry carried him through to the other side. He is the father of three incredible children who are the greatest gifts God has blessed him with. His motto for writing is to begin with the truth and go from there. Poetry is the purest art form.

Smashwords Interview

What are some of your interests?
Poetry obviously, poetry has helped me get through periods of depression and brought me out to the other side. Music, I'm a fanatic. I love discovering new talent and angles on presenting music.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Johnny Got His Gun and Lust for Life were two of the earliest books and both had great impact. VanGogh has been a huge influence on my work. I've never been a 'remain in the 9 dots' type of writer.
