Born in 1958 I was raised in the back woods of Michigan. Miles of pristine forests and lakes that I considered my backyard, where one day I could be Huckleberry Finn paddling his raft up the Mississippi, to being a Native American exploring the unmapped regions of the wilderness. Great Adventures were within my grasp each morning, and it was only up to me to decide the adventure for the day, fueling my imagination and giving me the desire to share the worlds I created with the hope that my readers would be able to escape within their own minds and enjoy a little time away as well.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords inspired me to create an e-book from a book I had been working on for several years (DragonKnights), along with that inspiration, Smashwords has been a springboard for my writing career, and I hope to publish a hard copy of my novel sometime soon, and plan to use some of the comments I received from my e-book to help promote the hard copy, (which I am also self- publishing).
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy for me when writing is the excitement as the story develops from some vague idea in the confines of my imagination to my fingertips, (or should I say on my monitor).
As I tap out my story-line there is nothing more exhilarating than seeing one idea bridge the gap to the next idea and the story unfolding before my very eyes.
