From the moment I first started reading "My Boss is a Serial Killer", I couldn't hardly step away! Carol is every woman and every office peer I have ever worked with. There were so many "laugh out loud" moments in this book that I find myself chuckling at the strangest times, in bed, at work, while watching TV. And tell me about her office. What a riot! This book was a fun and easy escape. I think everyone should read this mystery.

Just when you think it can't get better, Harlin proves that it can! With so many laugh-filled pages and a surprise that I didn't see coming, I could not stop reading. And I love the characters so much! These are people that everyone should meet. Even the kleptomaniac at the job interview. Only Christina Harlin could combine the seriousness of murder with the suspense of the mystery and the comedy of of her brilliant mind to keep this reader up all night wanting more.

Christina Harlin has been my favorite author of funny, romance/mystery books. But this venture into the supernatural took me to a place where a seemingly perfect little Missouri town beckons the reader to "sit a spell" and have some lemonade. Yet, once we get there, we are immediately aware of the meanness, scandal and secrets. And to the town, put in place a church stuck in time, full of self-serving people who are determined to keep their secrets. As we are following the task assigned to our bright heroine, Sarah, we are also being instructed by an otherworld child who can see the future and know that based on his life and death in this quaint town we need to go. Now. This book nearly brought me to my knees. Well done, Ms Harlin, well done.
