Tanner Givnan – Screenwriter / Writer / Photographer Tanner Givnan is a talented author, photographer, and screenwriter whose screenplays have reached the top 5% in national competitions. Tanner’s screenplay Clear Cut Love is targeted for production this summer.
Tanner has also received praise for versatility across genres, including character and plot development, skill with dialogue, and for an uncanny ability to give voice and emotional tone to a range of characters. Stacey Barney, while Senior Editor at Kensington Publishing commented on another of Givnan’s projects: “I absolutely adore the voice and the characterization: the plot is seductive. I instantly connected with it. There’s a great sense of humor threaded throughout and the comedic plotting is something right out of an I Love Lucy script … stellar. There is something absolutely magnetic about the writing style and voice.”
Further emphasizing the skill brought to each project, Givnan’s novel, The Runaway Ornaments, is scheduled for release in June of 2012 with plans for development as a film and musical production. Tanner Givnan has always loved writing children’s stories and has a full arsenal of them to share; the missing piece up to now had been finding an illustrator whose work would pair well with Tanner’s words. Now, thanks to Tanner’s cousin Marie DeStefanis the illustrator has been found, VALERIE KNIGHT. All you have to do is set your eyes on Val’s work and you’re hooked by the emotion, the life, she gives the characters, and the artistry in which she does it.
Valerie Knight – Graphic Designer / Illustrator Valerie Knight has put her artistic skills to use as a freelance graphic designer for many years. She has studied fine art and commercial art in college and beyond and brings an artistic sensibility to all her design work.
