Tanner Publishing is a collaboration of two authors, Peter V. Tanner and Mitchell Joyce.
Mitchell writes adult novels for the most part and Peter writes military fiction, science fiction, and non-fiction commentary on America as seen through the eyes of a black man.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in New York City, my travels have taken me to 48 of the 50 states plus Guam, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico. in the Marines, I got to see most of Europe and Asia. I lived in Japan for four years, and the Philippines, well, I still have a house there. I can't go back there because of an operation but my brother-in-law gets to live rent free.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in High School, but because of my dyslexia, I had a hard time getting what was in my head, on the page. The Corps helped me focus.
