Tatyana Li

Biography

Korean born and raised in Uzbekistan, by amazing and the most loving parents. Her two great brothers with their families are residing in Siberia, Russia.
Right after graduating from University of World Languages, Tatyana had a wonderful opportunity working for EU projects as English-Russian interpreter. She had the most profound experience working and learning from brilliant individuals. Tatyana's early teenager’s dream was to become a journalist and diplomat. Her dream came true partially through working for EU projects and discovering incredibly interesting European and Western world and mentality of diplomats, business consultants, entrepreneurs. All that and working as an interpreter had enriched her knowledge and expanded horizons.
In 1999, she got discovered by Starwood Hotels in Tashkent. That is where and when she fell in love and found her passion in the hotel business and moved to the USA in 2001 in pursuit of her hotel career. Starwood Hotels supported Tatyana’s transfer to the USA for which she is very grateful.
She has not accomplished yet that what she is aimed to. Very soon you will hear about her. Tatyana worked in hotel operations, sales and food and beverage worked all her way up to Director of Sales and Marketing for well-reputable hotel brands. Sixteen years later, unstable job market, highly stressed work environment inspired her to write a book, get her business plan done, another perspective of life and learn to love herself more.
She is single. Currently, Tatyana lives in Miami, Florida. She enjoys fine dining, long walks on the beach and classical music. She loves to dance and entertain guests.
