Arnold, attended Detroit pubic schools, and received a G.E.D. soon after dropping out of Northern High School. He earned his bachelors of arts degree in Communications, from the University of Detroit, in 1990.

The American Scheme, is Mr. Hannon’s literary debut. It took him a half century to live it, and three years to write his remarkable journey, through life in a very tough-city called, Detroit, Michigan.

The American Scheme is steeped in, Detroit, culture and legend. I attempted to capture a golden era in Detroit’s history, before it fades into oblivion. To all the Gamers out there, this one’s for the Game to.

I hope that my story will inspire others born into hapless situations out their control, to examine the psychological, barriers, that may be impeding their growth, and an opportunity to live a long and bountiful life. God, bless all who are chasing “The American Dream.” “You must tread cautiously. You don’t wanna’ get played by the “The American Scheme.”
