Smashwords Interview

What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle on my iPhone.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was in 3rd grade. I wrote "Who Shot JR?" I was motivated by the popular television series Dallas. The show was about a wealthy family, the Ewings, in Dallas, Texas. There was a huge mystery surrounding the attempted murder of the character J.R. Ewing. The shooting led to a major television cliffhanger. My story gave the details of who and why JR was shot.

My teacher was not pleased with my selection. Actually, she gave me an F and forced me to redo the assignment. She informed me the assignment was not to write about a night time soap opera. In return, I informed her the assignment did not specify soap operas were off limits. Needless to say, I rewrote a story I created myself. When I received my grades she gave me an A+ for the rework and an A++ as extra credit for the "Who Shot JR?" title.
