Biography

Henrik has devoted his whole career to business development and sales. As one of the business world's top salespeople, he has had the privilege of working in Swedish, Finnish, French, English and US based companies. Experience from companies like Data General, Cap Gemini, Tektronix and Tieto has given him an in-depth understanding of the key principles which make some companies succeed where others go under. Now he is dedicated to sharing everything he knows about creating extraordinary results.

Henrik has followed Anthony Robbins since the early 1980s, and has studied his work on personal development and communication. For 7 years, Henrik has had the privilege of studying NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) with Magnus Kull, one of the foremost practitioners in the field. Henrik has also trained with Robert Dilts, Steven Gilligan, Schelle Rose Charvet and Richard Bolstad. He is a qualified, NLP Master Practitioner.

More than ten years ago, Henrik discovered the amazing benefits of TaiChi Quan, an ancient Chinese martial art closely related to Qigong, which features a focus on healing and balance techniques. Henrik has trained in Sweden under Michael Björklund, Hans Landeström and especially Li Minh Hua. He has also studied Taichi Cuan in China three times and has studied under Master Feng Yi Jian in Beidahei. In Thailand, he trained with Master Li Hechun, Longmen (Dragon Gate) from the Chuan-Chen School of Taoism in China.

Henrik currently works as an Executive Sales Coach helping companies across the globe with consulting, seminars and lectures based on distilling 30 years worth of knowledge and experience in sales and business development. He is a proud grandpa and lives in Stockholm, Sweden and enjoys the company of his three grown kids as often as he can.

Viking Inspiration
Henrik's love of stories can be traced back to his Viking ancestors. Through word of mouth alone, the Old Norse myths, and the names of the old gods live on in languages like English, German & French. Not only do the days of the week, like "Thursday" (Thor's Day) still show their Viking roots, but words like "beserk" are used every day across the globe. These warriors from the Dark Ages still have a firm grip on our modern imaginations. In fact, people all over the UK are using DNA testing to prove their Swedish background for a little extra social kudos.
He is so proud of his heritage he is an active contributor to the new "Home of the Vikings" project. Many foreign visitors would love a museum dedicated to this essential part of Sweden's history, and he hopes that the project will lead to increased tourism, job creation and more positive publicity for the region. In fact, his new motto is: "The Vikings are back and this time they mean business."
Scandinavia has 0.3% of the world's population. Yet Scandanavian brands account for 3% of global exports. Is this a Viking legacy? Claes Andreasson helped create Absolut Vodka's unparalleled successes in America, and he is a firm believer that there is a special Viking mentality which explains this.
"One of my mentors is Claes Andreasson author of the book The Viking Manifesto. I was born and raised in a very Swedish business environment. We have a long, distinguished commercial tradition, and a unique way of looking at the world. Ikea, Lego, Absolut, Ericsson and H & M are just some of the Scandinavian brands that conquered the world. In ancient times, Vikings too conquered the world, getting to America before the Americans!"
The Vikings did not follow the rules. Instead of attacking other countries with large armies, they found a smarter and much simpler idea - surprise attacks and plunder. They did not leave monuments behind them and no texts, and yet they are as famous as the Romans and Greeks. It is high time to recognize the Vikings for what they were also - Europe's boldest businessmen who created the world's first functioning parliament, discovered North America and were pioneers in gender equality.

Business Success
Henrik specialises in both vital components of any successful operation - sales and finance. In sales terms, he drives better lead generation processes, high list conversions and improved hit rates for dealmaking. In financial terms, he helps to increase customer bases, corporate expansion, increased profitability and the development of easy to use tools and business processes.
The core techniques used to coach and advise clients include:
• Creating energy in sales teams.
• Sharper bid processes.
• Winning new business and succeeding with high level negotiations.
• Taking Key Account Management to the ultimate level.

Henrik's three key lessons from his long experience of the front line are:
1) Presentation is the killer marketing secret. Making your offering easy to understand, establishing an understanding of needs and keeping things simple were concepts drummed into him at KM Gruppen & ICL Financial systems.
2) Focus on the most profitable clients. It is always better to sell to existing clients than to sell to new prospects. At Cap Gemini and Tieto this principle was put into effect with tremendous success.
3) Client/customer focus: putting the customer/client first. To find out where the customer/client is going and to meet them there.
