Natalie Rivener

Biography

If Natalie had been born a few odd centuries earlier, she would have been burned as a witch. She refuses to conform and loves exploring new things without caring too much about what others may think.

She currently spends most of her time running after her two kids but she’s really a Jill of all trades…everything from sewing to pole dancing to painting to calligraphy to baking has taken up her time, but her favourite remains writing.

She lives with her husband, two children, cat and tarantula in a quiet part of Gauteng, South Africa.

Smashwords Interview

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing is a very cathartic experience. It allows you to take your own experiences and use them to create something greater and more inspiring. It gives you the chance to look at all of it from a different angle and sometimes provides you with greater insights into your own life.
What are you working on next?
I am currently working on a short story for Flight of the Phoenix, a fantasy/science fiction/horror anthology I will be publishing with a group of South African writers in July 2015.
