This is one of the more original fantasy books that I've come across in a while. It takes something that most people are interested in (mythology) and puts an updated fantasy spin on it. The premise is that the Greek gods are still active and up to their old tricks only this time there are humans who have inherited the abilities of fallen gods/titans, their job is to stop them. Brandon Marlowe survives this world, and unlike the PJ series this author makes no bones about the danger these people face. Very gripping, very fun.

This was a fun series with adventure and struggling youth. Even though it dealt with fantasy it still addressed some of the conflicts of today's young people. I wish the series was completed already.
