Hello, my name is Valerie and I am a play-at-home mom to 4. I am also a wife to 1 and homeschooler to 3. One has graduated and flown the coop and I still have three at home 13, 5 and 4. We live to travel, garden, spend time outside and time together. We try to live as green as we can while we coupon, recycle and make our new house into the home we love. We read every night before bedtime and any chance I get by myself...so I don't get to do much personal reading right now, lol.

  This book, written by author Richard Silverton, is a super fun and magical way to bring some awareness to our forests and nature in general. I loved the details on every page. He really brought these mystical creatures to life in my head and my children’s minds as well. Each character has their own uniqueness that you just grow to love and you can see them each in your mind because of the great details Mr. Silverton used. Because of our lifestyle and how we have raised the children to this point I believe, even though they are so young, that both of my boys picked up on the importance of the trees in the story and how we are supposed to protect them.
