In 1977, when I was 10 years old, my parents took my siblings and me to an old-fashioned barn meeting to watch the End Times classic film, A Thief in the Night (1972; Russ Doughten Films). That night, a strong sense was birthed in me that one day I would write a book about the Book of Revelation; and since then I’ve spent much effort working to better understand the topic of the End Times.
Rather than pursue traditional religious training, I decided that a secular education might lend a richer perspective on our world and these final days; and in 1995, I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (political science) from the University of Arizona. From there, I earned a Master’s degree in International Business and Economics from Thunderbird School of Global Management, which I attended on a full scholarship. I have traveled extensively, including the Soviet Union from Moscow and Leningrad to the Soviet Far East in 1987, and Argentina and Antarctica in 1991. In 1994, I spent a semester abroad in the former Soviet Republic of Kazakhstan on a full scholarship. Today, I have my own consulting business in information technology; and I work as an Associate Pastor at Living Word Family Church in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where I regularly teach on the topic of the End Times. I am also asked to speak to other groups and on the radio on a regular basis.
In 2012, I made my first trip to Israel, where I conducted cursory research for my book series on the modern State of Israel, the situation on the Temple Mount, current efforts to build a Third Jewish Temple, and other matters related to the End Times. In April/May 2014, I traveled again to Israel, this time with a focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (which I believe will soon lead to the appearance of the Antichrist). On this second trip, I spent three days in an “illegal Israeli settlement” (West Bank), two days in Ramallah (de facto capital of the Palestinian state; West Bank), and three days in Gaza (which is on the U.S. State Department’s “do not enter” list); I conducted multiple interviews, including with the spokesman for the Jewish community in Hebron, the Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority (PLO) in Ramallah, and a famous human rights attorney (who has been blacklisted in the U.S. for 14 years) in Gaza City; and I visited several Palestinian refugee camps (including delivering food and medicine to ten families in Gaza’s famous “Beach Camp”).
I regularly post teaching videos to my YouTube channel, and videos from my Israel trips may be found there as well. I also post daily to my ministry Facebook page, and I speak at various venues and on the radio.
