Tim Ellison

Biography

Timothy Andrew Ellison lives with his wife and sons in rural Shropshire. The Green Man is his first novel.

He works in an office- based job within the Oil and Gas industry, writing in the evenings and at weekends.

Born in 1965, he regularly moved location with his parents and younger brother Matthew, following his Dad’s job as a lorry driver. As a result, Tim grew up in several rustic villages and hamlets around Shropshire and Cheshire, which left him with a longing to return to that lifestyle and share it with his own family in later life.

He keeps mind, body and soul reasonably intact by walking old track-ways and prehistoric paths with his wife, Melanie. Together, they have walked most of the locations described in The Green Man.

Tim has an interest in the unrecorded periods of history, particularly the Paleolithic and Dark Ages. He continues to educate himself on what life was like for the people who lived through those times. He also has a keen interest in landscape photography, and will usually have his camera to hand when out walking.

Tim has never fired a fifty calibre rifle, but he lives in hope.

He is currently working on the sequel to The Green Man, and has several other writing projects in the creative queue.
