Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I do, and I still have it. It is a short story about a small boy who lives in a small country town. He sees a newborn colt at the neighbor's house and asks his father for 50 cents to buy it. The neighbor exchange glances with his father and pretends to agree, but on one condition, the boy has to go and bridle the colt. When the boy goes to get the colt, the mare neighs at him and the boy runs away.
When did you first start writing?
My favorite subject in school was writing essays, and I have written short stories and notes all my life. I began to write in earnest in 2010 and published my first book in 2012.
