  • Faelorehn - Book One of the Otherworld Trilogy on May 29, 2012

Faelorehn was my first read to review experience. (Thank you!) I was very excited to get this opportunity. Faelorehn was a good book. I have to admit it started out slowly, but Ms. Jenna Johnson had a lot of background information to get out on Celtic mythology. I didn't know a whole lot on this, so the information was greatly appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in this book. Meghan and her friends had me rooting for them. All were unique in their own way, they fit together so well. I wanted more about Cade. I am still trying to wrap my mind around his angle. Is he gonna share his feelings for Meghan, or stay in the background leaving her to figure out her new identity alone? I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
  • Fated Dreams (Book One In The Affinity Series) on Sep. 12, 2013

Okay I just finished this book and I am feeling such an emotional high. I really, really like this book. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Fated Dreams is filled with romance, suspense, action and a few twists and turns. Everything a great book needs. I love the whole soul mate aspect to this stiry and the fact that Christina kept me guessing all through the book at who the "evil" person could be. Brilliant and one of my favorite YA books of all time. Sarah is a great character. She's a talanted Pianist, strong willed and all around lovely. After bumping into Lucas in the hall at school, she realizes he's the one she has been dreaming about. She feels an immediate pull to him and quickly realizes she has feelings for him. He is everything a girl could want. He's handsome, charming, funny, strong and did I mention handsome? LOL There is only one problem, someone is after Sarah and the nightmares that haunt her sleep are only the beginning. Fated Dreams is so well written and hooks you from the very beginning. You won't want to put it down. I cannot wait to read the next book, Delusions. Christina Smith is one author to watch.
