  • The Shortcut on Nov. 23, 2011

Have no idea why one of the reviews couldn't understand Laura's "motivations." Made perfect sense to me! Great short story.

  • The Darkness Unseen on Nov. 23, 2011

Michelle. WELL DONE!!! In case you don't know, the one who gave you only one star, is well known as someone who can only make herself feel important at all by putting down others! She is known by most on smash words as someone to ignore. When people see her name they just laugh. Your story was quite good. Please keep writing!
  • The Lost Moments on Nov. 24, 2011

Wasn’t sure I might like this story, but, after having read your other work, gave it a read. Sasha, you have a great way about you. This made me think of members of my own family. I never took the opportunity to say the many things I should have. This story hit home with me. I’m not sure if I should thank you or not! Just kidding. Great story!!
  • The Window on Nov. 26, 2011

Good story. I'll pay more attention to my room next time!
  • Murder On The Mountain on Dec. 20, 2011

  • The Best Friend on Dec. 20, 2011

Another great story Sasha. I've read all your stories thus far,and have enjoyed them all! This one was unusual, I like those.
  • Soul Survivors on Dec. 20, 2011

Nice short story. One does wonder what there may be after we pass... if anything.
  • Wishful Thinking on Dec. 20, 2011

Liked the story. Liked some of your others more, but this was still a good one.
  • Anthology of Short Stories From Authors Glenn C. and Sasha Gabriel on Dec. 31, 2011

Just found your anthology for 2011. I have all of your stories on my iPad and PC. The Anthology will make it easy to get to all at one time. Thanks for providing it. I look forward to your works in 2012! I really like the Table of Contents, even in the PDF version. So many books don't have one within the PDF, and it makes it hard to jump to the chapter you want. Thanks for including it.
  • Amanda Ackers and The Deep Forest Elves on Jan. 03, 2012

I too was fortunate enough to have received an early release of this, their first ever novel. I had emailed them from their authors page and asked if they would consider sending me an early copy. What a unique idea, having the story being retold by an elder elf. And having the reader become PART of the adventure also? Brilliant! It did take some getting used to the elvish style of writing, in their use of punctuation and prolific use of italics to emphasize where the original speaker emphasized or put more stress on a word or words. But I have to say, it didn't take long before I was really into it! I am so invested in the characters! Love Amanda, Thian and the others, and love all her adventures. If this is just book one, I can't wait to see what happens in the others! Well done you two!
  • The Encounter on March 03, 2012

This one I liked a lot. There are a lot of vampire, zombie and other stories out there. This short is really good. It's like a teaser for a full length novel, where he spends his days trying to find the beautiful girl, perhaps glancing her from time to time, but never quite reaching her due to the creatures infected with the sickness. Nice story, and I recommend it.
  • Crimson Rain on March 13, 2012

While I found the book interesting and a good concept, I think it could have been taken further in only a few brief pages.
  • Dragon Kin and other fantasy stories on March 15, 2012

Very much enjoyed all the stories in this anthology! My favorite though was Dragon Kin, not only for the way it was written, but for how unusual it was. Vanessa has a way of storytelling I find very refreshing, never the same-old, same-old. If you have not read these, you are truly missing out!
  • A Night for Questions and Answers on March 15, 2012

I'm getting to like this author more every time I read something. I'm also getting to like Chuck. The only thing I'd like to see more, are longer versions. Just as I'm really getting into it, it ends, but I still very much enjoyed it.
  • A Night Meeting on March 25, 2012

Most unusual story. Nice use of humor, kidnapping victim sitting and having a conversation. Nice try he had about having him try drinking animal blood instead of his!
  • Amanda Ackers and The Realm Of The Witches on March 30, 2012

Book Two is great! Took me two days to read and I enjoyed every bit of it. Wow, do they ever go through some adventures! Their falling into the Bone Pit with all the creepy crawlies... Yuck! The battle in Arcoma Village when they first arrive there. The "test" Amanda went through with the Great Witch Bellinora, and the Face in the green vapor. The adventure in Shadow Alley. And of course, the huge fight scene at the end with those hideous, giant... well, I won't spoil it and just say "creatures." Wow just doesn't seem to come close. I really liked book one, but this one, simply outstanding! Can’t wait to see how book three starts, with the ending of this one so intense! And no, I do not know the authors personally, but very much love their work.
