Hi. I am Tom and my wife and I live in the St. Louis, Missouri area. We grew up here and moved back a couple of years ago from Florida and Alabama. We have children and grand-children in Florida, Alabama and Chicago.
For most of my adult life I have served in the U.S. military, both in the Air Force and the Navy. Most recently, I have worked as an accountant. I am now retired.
I've been working on the book, "The Truth About Money: How to Find Joy and Peace" for quite a while and finally have it just about ready for you to enjoy and, hopefully, find helpful. Please feel free to review the book or get in touch with me at the website and let me know what you think of it.
This book is being followed up by two others: "The Truth About Natural Laws" and "The Truth About God". These are both intended to be published in 2016 and I will, of course, welcome your thoughts and feedback about them.
Well, like I said, I hope you enjoy the books and I look forward to your feedback and thoughts.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up just west of St. Louis, Missouri and I have always been a pretty serious person. Over the years, I have given a lot of thought to serious issues, like personal finances, for example, which led to the current book, "The Truth About Money: How to Find Joy and Peace."
When did you first start writing?
"The Truth About Money" is my first published work, although I have always enjoyed writing and have long thought it my best form of communication.
God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you, but you have to decide if you want to know God and obey His Laws - He will not force Himself upon you. This book is about God; His character and attributes; His Son, Jesus Christ; What you can do to get to know Him; His Word, the Holy Bible; His Law, The Ten Commandments; Prayer. It is also about getting 'Right' with God'- Righteousness.
Does it ever seem to you like in some of the more important areas of our lives we pretend there are no rules? Do you find it difficult to capture the Peace and Joy of life? If so, this book is for you. The theme of The Truth About Natural Laws is that life is a lot harder than it has to be and certainly a lot harder than it is intended to be because we disregard the rules, the Natural Laws.
You can find The Truth About Money! If you are one of the millions of people who are struggling financially or just have the feeling you are missing out on the Peace, Joy and Contentment of life because of money, this book is for you. The Truth About Money will encourage you to incorporate our two Key Concepts and make a few simple changes to your personal finances, improving your family's lives.
