Smashwords Interview

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am a software engineer by day, working at a large software company based in the Seattle area. On the side, I develop mobile applications for phones and tablets on platforms such as Android and Windows Phone. My mobile app portfolio can be found at www.softwaretom.com. If I am not working on software or writing, I can most likely be found playing guitar or enjoying some down time around the house.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I really look forward to contributing towards the goal of bettering society and improving the quality of life everywhere, for the current generation and future generations alike. I believe the Impact of Innovation book series highlights that sentiment well by exploring some of the most profound ways technology is changing the way we live, as well as some of the ways those changes could affect society in the future.
