Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

I grew up in Gauteng Sebokeng in the era of Vaal Uprising pre 1994 and after the new dawn of demoracy. I found that most of our Black African Stories are not told or written by us, that inspired me to start writing stories about our past and present life.

When did you first start writing?

Since high school in the 1980's beginning with stage dramas, film/ video drama scripts
