I really enjoyed this book. I haven't yet read book 1 but this works well as a stand alone book so don't be at all put off by this being book 2. Cassandra is a character you will either love or hate - I loved her but she could easily annoy others I'm sure! The only downside for me was the amount of information, character names, world building in the first few pages. I initially felt a little overwhelmed by it all but I soon settled into the story and thoroughly enjoyed it! Definitely worth reading xx

An enjoyable book - which was somewhat different than I thought it would be from the synopsis. Nyx is a much more likeable character than I thought she would be, or than I expected! I loved Sebby as well :) This was an interesting twist on the vampire/ werewolf genre and I would certainly recommend it. My only criticism is that I struggled to feel a great connection with the characters and I did find the language a bit stilted - but that may just be me.

I'm loving this series, and much like other reviewers I felt a better sense of connection to the characters in this one. Sebby is growing as a character for me and I think there is more to learn yet about Alex so I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt! It's also nice to see a demon join the fray - and Nyx is just as feisty as ever. Definitely a series to read :)

Oh my Goodness!! I really, really need a Clyde!!! This is a really good addition to the series and I think it really helps with the development of both the characters and their relationships with each other. I did find Sebby's reaction a little over the top but Nyx keeps him under control with her usual brand of subtlety! These books keep you turning the pages, and as the series has progressed it has become easier and easier to connect with the characters. READ THEM!!
