Tyler Colins is primarily a writer of fiction and blog posts, and a sometimes editor and proofreader of books, manuals, and film/television scripts (though she will create business plans, synopses, film promotion and sales documents).
Fact-checking and researching, organizing and coordinating are skills and joys (she likes playing detective and developing structure).
Her fiction audience: lovers of female-sleuth mysteries. Her genres of preference: mysteries (needless to say), women’s fiction, informative and helpful “affirmative” non-fiction.
She aims to provide readers with smiles and chuckles like the ever-talented Janet Evanovich and the sadly passed and missed Lawrence Sanders, the “coziness” of Jessica Fletcher, and a few distractions and diversions as only long-time pros Jonathan Kellerman and Kathy Reichs can craft.

How does it feel to publish the fourth book in the Triple Threat Investigation Agency series?
As awesome as the last three times.
What’s the significance of your current title, Forever Poi?
In terms of me: it’s an homage to Hawaii. Poi is a Hawaiian staple, a delicious food made from taro. Hawaii is in my heart and soul and always will be; hence, forever poi. In terms of the book: there’s reference to poi re the three main characters (JJ, Rey and Linda enjoy poi three different ways to reflect their dissimilar personalities) while the title relates to a significant comment from a certain individual.
A crazy murder-filled, gather-your-inheritance stay at a haunted Connecticut manse convince Jill, Reynalda, and Linda that they have what it takes to become private investigators. Off to Hawaii they soar, where the Triple Threat Investigation Agency P.I.s set up shop. What they lack in experience, they make up for in persistence. No psychopaths will get the better of these gals.
The Triple Threat Investigation Agency rookie private eyes strive to uncover a killer amid yet another cast of curious and unconventional characters. Along the perilous trail, the gals meet up with gamblers, debt-collectors, and old acquaintances who may—or may not—have their best interests at heart.
Novice sleuths JJ, Rey and Linda bumbled their way through The Connecticut Corpse Caper with winning results. The trio go professional and the Triple Threat Investigation Agency is born. Their first case, to uncover a secret, soon involves murder, with any one of a cornucopia of curious persons being the potential killer. Can the trio unravel the intriguing twists before the twists ravel them?
Seven quirky inheritance recipients gather for a week-long stay in a creepy mansion replete with hidden passageways and disappearing corpses.
Although the will of Mathilda Moone stipulates that no guests may leave early, one does—permanently—just hours after arriving. Enter novice detectives Jill, Rey, and Linda.
Soon, amateur sleuthing—and resulting mayhem—begin!
