Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Sterkspruit, Eastern Cape and Zastron, Free State. It has influenced my writing a great deal as my inspiration comes from there. Most of my settings for my stories are influenced by my environment of which these two areas have been most prominent.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 1999.
