Smashwords Interview

How do you approach cover design?
Cautiously would be the one word answer. At the present time the budget for cover design is zero which restricts options to a degree. To counter that I work with images in the public domain to try to find an abstraction that conveys the title and tenor of the piece.
What do you read for pleasure?
Everything except insurance contracts, tax guidelines, and political speeches.
