What's the story behind your latest book?
I have earned four college degrees namely an an associate's, two bachelor's and one master's degree. I also taught military science and leadership as an ROTC instructor. Therefore, I have a great deal of personal knowledge and advice about the steps and actions to graduate from college. In the last few years, I have repeatedly read articles or saw news reports about students with huge amounts of loan debt or not completing college. So, I decided to write my book, "The Student's Comprehensive Guide For College & Other Life Lessons." If I can help one high school student to graduate from college on time and work in a career based on his/her major, I want to pass on that knowledge.
Why do you write?
I love it. Writing gives me a chance to clear my head of ideas, conflict or stories. I am more active as a writer at night. I write a story or jot down notes, which prepares me for bed. I sleep like a baby.
