Violet Chandler was married at twenty-one years of age, to the only man she had ever loved. At twenty-three she was a widow, after losing her husband on their second wedding anniversary, in a freak skiing accident.
She is now a young and beautiful, but sad woman, who lives on her own above a boathouse, on an island in the middle of a large river. Her only company a small dog who she rescued called Marty, and a cat called Pims.
She dreams of the wonderful times she had with her late husband, as she writes romantic books. Violet Chandler is a pseudonym.
