Kathie Seedroff
Biography
Kathie left the corporate world after 30 years to practice what she preaches--Simplify--Let it Go--Less is More--and to empower others to do the same. She is the ‘soul proprietor’ of Simplified Interiors, a business she founded and developed (2002), which offers classes, consultations, and coaching in clearing clutter, simplifying, and feng shui.
Kathie offers a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in teaching, feng shui, clutter clearing, and organizing based on her studies and many years of experience. She holds a Masters of Applied Communication (MAC) from the University of Denver (1999) and as a graduate of Denise Linn’s Interior AlignmentTM (2002) and Soul Coaching™ courses (2003) is one of an elite group of professionals called Certified Practitioner of Interior Alignment(CPIA). Kathie has also studied with respected practitioners including Karen Kingston, Roger Greene, Terah Kathryn Collins, and Cynthia Murray.
Kathie taught de-clutter classes both privately and at Colorado Free University (2003-2007) and Arapahoe Community College (2003 to present). She has delivered workshops in clutter clearing and office and residential feng shui to small and large corporations as well as privately and through her classes. Kathie developed the workshop "Putting Paper in Its Place" and currently teaches "Conquering Clutter and Paper Too!" and "Do-it-Yourself Feng Shui" at Arapahoe Community College.
In addition to her teaching experience, Kathie has also been a featured speaker on radio programs (KNUS 2005, KOSI 2006, castlerockradio.com 2008, 12listen.com 2011), at the Colorado Garden and Home Shows annually since 2004, for the State of Colorado Department of Local Affairs, for businesses, in hospitals, and for numerous civic organizations. She is published in New Age Retailer (Jan/Feb 2008), Inspired Retailer (Nov/Dec Jan/Feb 2009) and YourHub com (July 13, 2006).
Most noteworthy is Kathie’s consultation work with hundreds of clients to whom she brings enthusiasm, energy, commitment, creativity, and insight. Through coaching, questioning, interviewing, creative tools, and personal challenges, she enjoys helping her clients identify ways to simplify their lives, increase their energy, and create the sacred space that encourages and supports their living the magic of their lives.
Kathie currently resides in Centennial, a suburb of Denver, with her husband Bob. In her spare time she loves reading at their mountain cabin, traveling, and volunteering. Most of all she loves spending time with Bob, her grown children – Heather, Zak and Brian – her adorable granddaughter Gillian and amazing grandson Kellen, all of whom she is most proud.
