Cat Walker is a SAG/AFTRA certified creative artist, a singer-songwriter, and a post-apocalyptic boudoir streetwear designer. As a recovered codependent, she’s still just figuring it out as we all are. Living as a highly sensitive empath in BedStuy, she often lies alone in her apartment shutting out the noise and building her ideal retreat, Valet Island. She says, An old friend once told me, “The only thing that can rest on the head of a sewing needle is unconditional love.”
Cat started the Perfectionist Club series of erotic novels with Alexander Key Locke after they met at an exclusive underground nightclub — a place that was still, somehow, unsatisfying. They began to imagine together what it would be like to visit a truly wonderful milieu. It could be a club that recognized the value of each person; did not shame people for their sexuality; rejected non-consensual or brutal contact; and accommodated the complex interactions that involve intimacy, love, and personal commitment. Ultimately, they built their story around two exceptional locales: a residential nightclub and an island where people encounter the unseen in themselves and each other.
The art of unconditional love, says Vivienne Valet, requires an authentic soul.
A good friend of Cat's likes to talk about Simon Sinek’s concept of “purpose, passion, people.” Her purpose (with Alex) is to tell a story that evokes virtuous sexuality. Their passion is to tease and arouse the spirit. The people they care about reaching are you.
