I just finished Thomas Duder's "The Generalist - Taboo 0: Cliché of Memories," I must admit, I truly liked it. It is a must read for any Urban Fantasy fan. The story starts in a very intriguing manner as mentioned in the synopsis with an amnesiac waking in a bathtub full of blood, and just gets better. And just to add, I am a kind of a reviewer who will not beat around the bush and will express my honest opinion. This story reminded me of cross between "John Dies at the End," and Neil Gaiman's "American Gods," two of my favorite urban fantasies. On a last note, I have to add that I have been reading Dean Koontz' latest Odd Thomas book, "Odd Apocalypse," and found myself setting that down and picking up my kindle and reading "The Generalist" instead. Please read this work, not as a favor, but just as a good read from a good underrated author.
