Victoria Thomas

Victoria Bright is from a small town in North Carolina and currently resides in Greenville, South Carolina. Victoria has been writing since she was in the eighth grade, starting with small short stories. As her classmates began showing interest in her work, she began to write longer stories, filling multiple spiral notebooks with her thoughts. During her freshman year in high school, her English teacher encouraged her to enter a writing contest in which she won local, region and state levels. She entered many writing contests since and have won a few. Figuring out she had a passion to share stories with anyone who would listen, she set out to write her first book Love Unbroken (available June 12, 2013).

Victoria is very versatile in the genre of books she likes to read. Her book choice mostly varies on her mood but she is particularly interested in crime stories, romance, teen fiction, scifi, and is now venturing a little in paranormal fiction. As for her own writing, she doesn't really put it into a category or genre. She just writes whatever is on her mind and lets it create itself!

This book was soooo good!! At first I was like "Oh no, this sounds like another version of Twilight" (which I hate) but I was actually interested in it. I'm usually not into vampire stories but I literally could not put the book down once I started reading it. I finished it in a day and a half and now I'm ready to read the second book of the series. Shari Richardson did I really great job! I also think it's cool that Mairin has the powers that she has and how strong her love and loyalty was to Mathias. The story was very good and I would definitely recommend it!

Shari Richardson has done it again. She has once again sucked me into the vampire world and didn’t let go until I reached the last page. I read this book in a day. As I stated in my review of Mourning Sun, this series of books really remind me of Twilight! But unlike Twilight, I can bear to read them. Mairin’s dreams/premonitions began to get worse as things began to change for the worse, leading to a battle with a demon in the end where the vampires and panthers must work together in order to survive. The battle was epic! I thought the book was very well written and I really enjoyed reading it. I was so sad when it was over! I didn’t care too much for the character Alfred. I felt that he was a little too old to be jealous of a human girl and his attitudes towards her were quite petty. I also thought it was cute that Kerry and Xavier started dating! It seems like the Cote family is no where near normal; Mairin is dating a vampire, Kerry’s dating a werepanther, and their mom’s partner is an angel! Talk about crazy! I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. I loved the story line, I love the characters and I love how it was written. I think Shari Richardson is very good with her words and expressing herself through her characters. I truly enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading the third book of the series!
