I tried to read this as I'm always interested in anything to do with "Lost Books or the Bible" or alternative accounts of the history of Christianity. However, I just couldn't find a hook to keep me turning the pages. I tried researching the People of the Way and the author hoping to discover something to renew interest in the book and found nothing.
Kudos to the author for writing about an often overlooked aspect of the Holocaust, but the characters in the novel seem to be somewhat underdeveloped.
I depated a bit before posting a review: I don't want to discourage anyone from reading the novel but I wanted to post my honest opinion.
Slow moving is exactly the correct way to describe it...
I normally enjoy this type of literature but found myself lost in the "who's voice is speaking now" problem that many authors fail to recognize when putting their thoughts down on paper.
