What's the story behind your latest book?
It is the ongoing story of time traveling heroes. Second Options more or less picks up where First Strike left off. But also begins to give insights into the past lives of our heroes and villains. We learn a lot more about Jack Sterling's past, while Lownsbury struggles on his own to keep the villainous Senator from finding his daughter. We also begin to have insights into mankind's deep past and how the Machine helped to shape our history.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have always loved writing. It is the one medium in which one can express oneself clearly, and concisely. And... as an independent author, one also does not have to place their future into someone else's hands. Relying on oneself represents the epitome of meritocracy where success or failure is determined by ones own efforts.
Along the banks of the Nile in Ancient Egypt, one of the greatest stories ever told is unfolding.
Lurking through the deadly streets of London's Whitechapel, an unspeakable terror is being unleashed.
From Baghdad to Brooklyn and beyond, Larimer Lownsbury, Jack Sterling and Will Masters travel through time in an ongoing effort to confront mankind's darkest adversary.
Lownsbury's Lecture is offered as a compendium to The Lownsbury Chronicles. Featuring the philosophy and ideas of Professor Larimer Lownsbury, amid an entertaining and fast moving lecture. Lownsbury's Lecture is an enjoyable and stimulating look at the birth and death of civilizations. It offers an insightful look at mankind's modern day placement inside of his own history, and existence.
With the fate of America, and the world, hanging in the balance, Jack Sterling leads his team through time, to unlock the mysteries of a fantastic machine and attempt to stop the evil that is, once again, threatening to spread across the globe.
