Biography

Wayne William Mee is a retired English teacher who enjoys hiking, sailing and walking his Beagle hound. He is also a 'living historian' or 'reenactor'. You can see Wayne's historical group on Facebook's 'McCaw's Privateers' 18th Century Naval Camp' page. Building & sailing wooden sailboats also takes up a chunk of Wayne's time, but along with his wife Maggie,son Jason and granddaughter Zoe, writing is his true love, the one he returns to let his imagination soar.

When did you first start writing?
I started around ten or eleven. My first story was a 'Tarzan' tale --- fan fiction' long before I ever heard of the word. I fiddled around with several stories all during my teaching career, (SHARD & EVER ONWARD), but it wasn't until I retired several years ago that I tackled writing full time. E-books allow you to be so much more 'creative' than the tap-tap-tap typewriter!!!
What books are you currently working on or planning for the future?
I always have two or three books on the go on various subjects or 'times'. Right now I'm working on a fantasy from my 'Oma-Var' series and another in my 'Cleansing' series. I also do daily proof-reading/ editing. Regardless of the `time or place`, the action will keep coming!
