Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it was in the 8th grade and it was about after a nuclear attack-pretty grim stuff. But my teacher liked it and sent it into a competition. Never heard anything else about it-must have been too grim LOL
What is your writing process?
I create the entire story in my head, to music usually, but it includes dialogue and even the fine details. Then, I either start at the beginning and write all the way to the end-though sometimes I have a scene in my head that is so clear I have to write it down right away, just to get it from replaying over and over. I've never gotten writers block, but I do get stuck on how much detail I need to include to get the story across.
