William Matta

Biography

Dr. William Matta is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice for over 20 years. He is also an adjunct college psychology professor for over 25 years. His critically acclaimed book, Relationship Sabotage: Unconscious Factors That Destroy Couples, Marriages, and Family, is part of world-renowned media/radio/TV psychologist Dr. Judy Kuriansky’s Sex, Love, and Psychology book series; has been embraced by numerous universities including Harvard, Princeton, and Cornell; and is recommended by Phoenix University and in Natalie Howard’s selection of “good reads.”
Dr. Matta has served on the New Jersey State Board of Marriage and Family Therapists for 23 years. He is included in Psychology Today Magazine’s list of America’s best therapists. He is a certified hypnotist and has conducted many hypnotherapy seminars sponsored by hospitals, colleges, businesses, and schools.
Dr. Matta is a preferred child/adolescent provider for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He successfully treats adults for depression and anxiety by utilizing the methods described in this book, The Solution: A Blueprint for Change and Happiness. Dr. William Matta has been married for 41 years, has two children and three grandchildren, and resides in Southampton, New Jersey.
