Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
1. Harry Potter, definitely. That was the first book I have ever complete reading it. Not to mention J k Rowling's commendable style of writing had benchmark the quality of how a great book should be. I was inspired by her use of vocabulary, it was indeed beautiful.

2. Fifty Shades of Grey. I am sorry if you are not a fan of E L James' first work that has become today's most sought after novel and movie. I must admit, E L James has a part in inspiring me to write. She showed us that every dream is possible. Without her and my husband of course, I don't think I would have any courage to write my first book.

3. I've Got Your Number. One of Sophie Kinsella's work. It was utterly addictive and I love most of the heroine in her novel, particularly this one. The story starts with the obstacles that the female character is already facing, and from there I was hooked and I can't wait to flip the next pages to discover how is she going to handle it? Well, every story taught us something, if it doesn't, then it is just a book. I've learnt that there is never a rush to marriage. Trust me. So, in this novel, Poppy Wyatt showed us to be brave enough to let go of the person who is not for you.

4.Who's That Girl? Alexandra Potter, the great lady behind this inspiring novel. As I said, novel teaches us something. And I feel connected to this book somehow. The situation in the story resembles some of the situation I was facing, during that time.
Describe your desk
Books, lots of books to inspire me.
Water, I seldom consume caffeine because I'm afraid it will stain my teeth
Notes, I used it to write down everything. Messy as it is, it's readable, at least for me. When I am not carrying paper with me, I will type every idea I had for my novel into my phone.
I've got nothing fancy such as flower vase because I am clumsy, I might break one of them, who knows?
Basically, that's everything I have on my desk. I tried to keep it as neat as possible, but it is impossible.

I love this book! It's funny, stirs my emotions, not so wordy, clear and the author clearly has put in great deal of effort to make this novel readable! Kudos and I really love the book after just reading the sample!
