Angelika Wohlrab
Biography
Although Angelika Wohlrab was born in Germany, she grew up on a farm in South Africa. As the oldest of seven children, she often entertained her siblings with fairytales, which progressed to relating her own make-believe stories. She loved being a boarder during her years at high school in Hermannsburg, KwaZulu-Natal, and afterwards at the university in Bloemfontein. Married to an immigrant from Austria, they have two daughters and recently moved from Johannesburg to a coastal town, Port Elizabeth. After years as a successful sales manager, Angelika is now a freelance tourist guide, which enables her to concentrate on her passion for writing as well as photography.
