Calvin A. Johnson


My Roots began on the Island of Bermuda. My Mother, Phyllis Burgess, due to financial circumstances was unable to care for two sons. Grace E. Collins Johnson adopted me. I lived in the City of Stamford, CT.

The fun part of my early life was going to the library and selecting books on animals. I especially loved books about a young boy and his horse Lee Baird Series. I also loved learning about animals.

I was also a Baseball Fan of both The New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers. I began playing organized baseball when I was 8 years old.

I attended Roman Catholic Schools:

St. John's Elementary and Stamford Catholic High School.

I graduated College at The University of Conn 1972 BA Sociology- Magma Cum Laude

Also received an MBA University of Conn- 1978

I am an avid reader usually reading around 150 books per year.

How do you approach cover design?
I was talking with an Author who was helping sort through ideas on a Cover.
The author suggested we make use of The Story "Something Evil in The Wind".
I think it was a great idea.
What do you read for pleasure?
I enjoy the science of The Cosmos.

I love real detective stories.
