Ava Mallory - Laugh-out-loud mysteries with a side of Latin flair!
Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author Ava Mallory writes inclusive, laugh-out-loud mysteries with a side of Latin flair. Her fictional characters are based on the people she knew and loved in her native Spain and the many U.S. locations she lived in after moving to the States in the late 1980s. Her characters are feisty, fun-loving, and full of life... unless they're not. (She writes mysteries after all.)
AVA is best known for her Mercy Mares traveling nurse cozy mysteries that feature a middle-aged Latina nurse who is a champion of patients and a magnet for trouble. Mercy's sidekicks are the who's who of quirky characters with big hearts - like the people Ava grew up with.
AVA earned a degree in psychology and a degree in nursing with a certification in geriatric/Alzheimer's care. She lives minutes from Chicago with three of her four children (The oldest left the nest & Ava's not been the same since.) and their Dorkie (Yorkie/Daschund) dog named Chacha, the actual Queen of the Mallory castle.

Without End: A Melrose Shops Novel

Without End is a brilliantly seductive novel that I was fortunate enough to have been asked to beta read. This is by far one of the best books I've read all year. I greatly appreciated that this author took the time to create characters with depth and emotion and a healthy dose of wit. This is not your run-of-the-mill bimbo in distress story. Claudette is brilliant, fun, and hilarious. Her delivery had me chuckling. Dino and the rest of the FF crew were a riot. I love them and can't wait to see what's in store for them next. You MUST read this book!

I was honored to have been gifted this book and compelled to share my thoughts. This series is gripping and leaves you breathless with every twist and turn. In the second installment of this series, Cristal opens a portal to Purgatory. What lies beyond that portal leads to both joy and despair. A struggle begins between technology and spirituality and all that was once believed to be right is called into question. With mysticism and a pair of not-so-trustworthy angels, Cristal and Harry must learn to navigate and make sense of everything around them. I especially appreciate that this book stands by itself, but can't wait to read the next installment.
