Who are your favorite authors?
I enjoy reading Mary Oliver. I hope readers are as moved by my poetry as I am by hers.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
It is easy to get out of bed. That is the most inspiring time of the day. Solutions to problems appear even to ones I didn't know I needed to face. When the afternoon gets me tired I want to take a nap looking forward to waking up refreshed.
This is a collection of stories and songs organized around three stanzas from one poem inspired by darkness while waiting for the power to return to provide light. That poem ties the others together like the dawn blessing the mysteries of night.
The Han Shan Poems
on July 02, 2014
This was my introduction to Han Shan. I don't know if the translation is good or not. It doesn't rhyme and I expect the original did, but it left me thinking I might want to get to know Han Shan better and for that it deserved the 5 stars.

This volume contains twelve memorable stories in a well-crafted ebook.
The characters include a mage with sour magic, a sad djinni, devils, a valkyrie and her soldier, mermaids and the moon, an archaeologist with a mysterious scroll and a strange child among other not so easy to describe characters involved in unusual situations.
All of these stories are delightful.
