Biography
Hello;
my name is Daniel Yoder and I write adult fiction under the name of D. L. Yoder. I was born in Seattle Washington but later moved to the country. My first experience in the working world was in construction, but later joined the Air Force where I served as a Pharmacy Technician. Some of my overseas experiences took place in the Philippines, Saudi Arabi and Iraq. Currently, I live in San Antonio Texas with my beautiful wife Linda. I have three kids who are out on their own.
I discovered the joy of writing quite later in my life, probably as an escape from the endless repetition that can appear in life. I enjoy blending action, suspense, romance and science fiction into my stories. Many of my stories have a spiritual element to them, but I am not sure my stories fall perfectly into the Christian fiction category. Often I try to inject some humor into my stories. I am not one for the lone hero who overcomes impossible odds; I prefer a man or woman who finds someone significant in their life and the two become something greater than they could ever be alone. So my heroes are always couples who are facing challenges together while working out the ingredients of their own relationship.
