I am a foreign lawyer who immigrated to the United States, carrying his ambition to work in the legal field in the United States. I decided to take a step to improve my legal skills and expand my knowledge of the American legal system. I decided to obtain a paralegal certificate to gain tangible knowledge allowing me to evaluate my qualifications against the American legal system. Fortunately, this path strengthened my willpower and made me more determined to obtain my Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.). I obtained my Master’s degree from Touro Law School in Long Island, New York in 2009.
